Organize, Fund, and Empower
Build a Winning Infrastructure
Jessica is committed to building the infrastructure needed to win elections — not just in 2026, but for years to come. That means:
- Auditing finances and creating a fully funded FY2026 budget to support precinct operations, outreach programs, and the county convention.
- Launching a professional fundraising team with clear benchmarks, major donor strategy, and quarterly transparency reports.
- Ensuring every precinct has the resources and tools they need to organize, engage, and turn out voters—especially in underrepresented areas outside central Austin.
- Building a long-term 6-year strategic plan to hire and retain the best staff across two election cycles.

Empower Precinct Chairs and Strengthen Partnerships
Elevate Engagement
Jessica believes precinct chairs are the heart of the Democratic Party—and she’s ready to elevate them. She will:
- Host regular town halls with caucuses and CEC meetings that include agenda-setting input and reporting from precinct leaders.
- Create a clear precinct chair support system that includes defined goals, recruitment tools, and regular appreciation events.
- Foster coordination across Democratic clubs, allied organizations, and community groups to share resources, avoid duplication, and grow participation.
- Launch a shared services program (like Text2Win, event promotion, and data tools) to ensure even small or struggling clubs can thrive.

Data-Driven, Diverse, and Direct
Reach Voters Where They Are
Jessica knows that messaging and engagement must meet people where they are—culturally, geographically, and digitally. Her plan includes:
- Investing in year-round, community-based organizers and content creators who reflect the diversity of Travis County and speak in plain language.
- Improving the voter file and training local leaders to use data effectively in every community.
- Developing hyper-local messaging strategies that clearly explain what Republicans are doing—and how Democrats will do better.
- Prioritizing DEI in staff hiring and leadership and launching a mentorship program for young and diverse Democrats.

Community Outreach That Works
- Always On. Always Present. We don’t just show up during election season. We build trust year round. Each social media post is a chance to connect with voters. Our online presence should reflect our constant commitment to the community.
- Partnering with Influencers The GOP currently dominates the digital space. It's time to change that. We’re working with local voices and online influencers to amplify Democratic values and reach more people where they are: online.
- Showing Up in Real Life Whether it’s a car show at Guerrero Park, a barbecue at Mabel Davis, or theater in the park in Pfluegerville, we go where the people are. Voters need to see us beyond the ballot. Because trust starts with presence, not just promises.
Messaging That Connects
- Clear. Bold. Repeatable. Our message needs to be easy to understand and even easier to share. No complicated language. Just strong, simple statements that stick.
- Speak with Heart We’re dialing down the ivory tower and turning up the emotion. Common-sense, kitchen-table messaging that hits home. Our messaging needs to feel relatable and grounded, not academic or out of touch.
- Focus on the Future Young men between the ages of 17 and 24 are often overlooked by our party and the last election results reflected that. We are speaking directly to them and inviting them into the conversation.
A Strategy That Scales
- Bigger Goals. Bigger Impact. We’re setting ambitious fundraising targets. Not just to uplift Travis County, but to strengthen our Democratic clubs and support surrounding counties where many Austinites now live.
- Expand the Blueberry Austin is often called the blueberry in the tomato soup. But we are not stopping at the city limits. We are growing Democratic strength across all of Central Texas.
- Regional Coordination We are building partnerships across Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson Counties. All five supported Democrats at 40 - 48% in 2024. The potential is real.
- Reaching Suburban Voters We’re stepping outside the political bubble and engaging with voters in every zip code. Suburban communities are full of persuadable voters, and we are committed to engaging with every single one.
- Planning for 2031 Redistricting is coming. We are creating a detailed, long-term plan now to ensure fair representation across our region when the maps are redrawn.
